Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.x

Flight Simulator is simulation "game" in which you pilot an airplane around the world. It started off as subLOGIC Flight Simulator on the Apple II, but was OEMed by Microsoft for the IBM PC. It was very popular, and one of few early games to provide a "3d" experience.

Installation instructions

This archive contains a 160k 5.25" floppy disk image in raw and ImageDisk formats.

This is NOT a DOS disk, and can not be read by DOS or WinImage. It can only be used as a "booter".

To use this disk, either write it to a disk and boot in a PC, or mount and boot it in an emulator such as MESS or PCE.

This program requires 100% IBM PC CGA compatible video. It does NOT work with VGA.
