In-a-Vision 1.x

Micrografx In-a-Vision is a vector based drawing program that was one of the first commercial programs written for Microsoft Windows. It was targeted at business professionals needing to make images that scale to high resolutions for presentation, publishing, diagrams, illustrations, and design.

In-a-Vision features drawing capabilities comparable to 2-D computer aided design programs. Drawings are compatible with Micrografx Windows Draw, and can be imported in to Aldus PageMaker documents.

In-a-Vision runs under Microsoft Windows version 1.x. It was one of the few applications developed for this version of Windows. Unlike DOS applications of the time, this meant In-a-Vision could output to any device that provided drivers for Microsoft Windows, and that it could multi-task with other Windows programs.

Later versions of this software were called Micrografx Designer.

Related Micrografx programs include Micrografx Windows Graph, Micrografx Windows Draw, Micrografx Portfolio with clip art libraries, and Micrografx Windows Convert
