IBM Electric Poet 1.00

Part of the IBM Electric Literature Series, Electric Poet is a creative authoring system targeted at literary community-writers, teachers, and students to create presentations and lessons. Its documents are referred to as "poems".

Originally created by poet Edmund Skellings, Electric Poet uses a unique (and at the time, patented) method of using color to show relationships.

It also features the ability to make use of all color combinations and symbols on an IBM PC, create animated graphics, play foreground and background music, use interactive responses, and control the playback speed.

This software is a prerequisite for IBM Comma Cat, and IBM Dictionary Dog.
