Borland C++ 5.x

Borland C++ targeted the professional application development market, while Turbo C++ targeted the home and hobbyist market. Release notes

This version requires 32-bit Windows 95 or NT. It can still produce executables for DOS and Windows 3.1.

This was the last full version of the product before it was replaced with Borland C++ Builder. Borland released a free download of "Borland c++ 5.5", but that was a minimal command line version.
