Drive Setup installs software that your computer uses to work with your hard disk.
Drive Setup 1.3.1 updates this software to prevent a rare incident in which you may lose files on your hard disk or be unable to start up the computer using your hard disk. (If your computer is unable to start up, you see a flashing question mark on your screen.)
This update is only required by Apple computers that have an internal ATA (IDE) hard disk. You should use Drive Setup 1.3.1 immediately to update your hard disk if you have one of the following computers with system software version 7.6.1 or 8.0 installed:
