VisiWord is a solid and well designed word processor for the IBM PC from VisiCorp. It was part of VisiCorp's integrated office application suite that also included VisiCalc, VisiFile, VisiSpell, VisiTrend/Plot, VisiSchedule and VisiTutor. It competed against EasyWriter and Volkswriter. This software runs under DOS 1.x and DOS 2.x. A follow up update to VisiWord offered better integration with VisiSpell.
The "Visi" series programs were to be superseded by VisiCorp Visi On, a GUI based environment. But that did not catch on. The similarly named Visi On Word word processor is not directly related to VisiWord.
This archive contains one 160k disk images in Transcopy and CopyIIPC format.
IMPORTANT: This software contains copy protection, and no known unprotect exists. To recreate usable disks you must use CopyIIPC with Snatchit, Transcopy, a SuperCard Pro, or Kryoflux.
These images will also work with the PCE emulator.
Note: Off hand I couldn't get it to successfully install to a hard drive under PCE, but it did install from a copy on real hardware.
