MS-Net (Microsoft Networks), released in 1985, was a short lived peer to peer networking product for IBM PCs intended to be adapted and distributed by OEMs. The software enables any workstation on a network to share resources, such as drives or printers, with other workstations. MS-Net was replaced by Microsoft LAN Manager.
IBM's PC-Net was based on MS-Net.
Wanted: Other versions, but they are likely OEM specific.
This Microsoft Networks beta disk is accompanied by a MS-DOS 3.0 pre-release that is specifically intended to aid in the adaptation of Microsoft Networks components.
