IBM Data Encoder 1.00

IBM Data Encoder is a file encryption tool published by IBM for the IBM PC. It supports full-screen and command-line operation, has a built in search, and removes old files by wiping them.

The Data Encoder uses the Data Encryption Algorithm, a security technique developed by IBM and adopted as a national standard (ANSI X3.92-1981). This algorithm was also adopted as a United States Government Standard (FIPS 46-Data Encryption Standard).
